The Role

We’re recruiting for a Senior Solution Architect here at Justice Digital, to be part of our warm and collaborative Demand and Business Relationship Management Team, who provide the front door for the business into Justice Digital technology services.

Key Responsibilities:

●    You will be working with Technical Architects and SMEs across Digital and partners, ensuring that the ask of the business translates to an existing service or understanding the requirements for a new offering to then clearly articulate as part of the Request For Service process.
●    You will be expected to translate technical speak to a non-technical audience and vice versa.
●    Utilising a hybrid skillset of both solution and technical architect.
●    Produce and review technical diagrams, up to HLD, but also able to understand details within LLDs.
●    The role will require an in depth understanding of all elements of technical infrastructure architecture, including EUCS, Voice & Video, Networks, Hosting and how these services are delivered.
●    It’s a complex environment so a large element of the role is to know who to speak to and building up a relationship with the various teams, therefore communication skills are as important as technical ones.
●    Work with security operations and policy teams

Person Specification

Essential

●    Comfortable at communicating with all levels of users, able to communicate technical documents to a non-technical audience and be able to contribute effectively with other technical specialists.
●    Capable of quickly grasping, documenting, and communicating a view of the current environment and the end stage solution.
●    Should be able to work independently with minimal supervision
●    Have advanced problem-solving skills.
●    Knowledge and experience of working within or delivering into highly secure environments
●    Knowledgeable about all phases of solution delivery for web, client-server, and cloud-based systems.
●    Proven track record of work experience developing technical blueprints with regard to the arrangement, interaction, and interdependence of all elements so that system-relevant requirements are met.
●    Experience with Azure and AWS cloud computing and cloud technologies.
●    Experience with Microsoft end user compute, both legacy/on premises and modern cloud solutions incl Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
