Overview

The Office of the Public Guardian (OPG) is an Executive Agency of the Ministry of Justice (MoJ), responsible for registering Lasting Powers of Attorney and supervising deputies who are appointed by the Court of Protection. Lasting Powers of Attorney gives people the power to choose who will be their voice and act in their best interests if they lose the ability to make certain decisions for themselves such as health and finances. Our vision is to make lasting powers of attorney accessible, affordable and essential for future planning, while providing world class services for everyone in society. Our people are at the heart of delivering these essential services to the public and it’s this purpose that binds us together, unites us and drives us forward.

You will be joining a supportive and inclusive People Services Team where we embrace diverse ways of working so that everyone can flourish. As a team we interact, build trust and support each other with humanity to be our best selves at work and we recognise and celebrate our successes together.
