Overview of the job
Provide support in delivering various aspects of the Project as required and as delegated by the Project Manager.
Summary
Working in the Service Integration and Stakeholder Engagement Team you will be part of a team that is responsible for developing innovative approaches to offender management. Working with a range of partners across the criminal justice system you will provide project support on a range of portfolio areas. The team interfaces and supports operational delivery across prison and probation.
Responsibilities, Activities and Duties
The job holder will be required to carry out the following responsibilities, activities and duties:
- Provide support to the developing the project and delivering of the named project according to the Project Initiation Document (PID)
- Provide support to the Project Manager and Research Officer in coordinating and delivering key components of the Project, including research and evaluation
- Coordinate the activity of the Programme Management Board as required
- Provide support to ensure the planning and delivery of Project partnership events
- Assist in the production of reports and presentations for the Project as required
- Act as liaison point for internal and external communication channels/enquires for the Project
- Monitor and coordinate requests for information both internally and externally
- Provide support to the Project and Delivery Programme through the innovative usage of Project Management and applicable IT systems and tools
- Assist in the implementation and co-ordination of the project in keeping with relevant specifications
- Promote the organisations’ Equality & Diversity Policy and Procedure and Welsh Language Scheme

Please note that office base can be negotiated across Wales NPS offices following successful appointment.
Candidates must bring their Passport, Driving Licence, bank statement from within the last 3 months and another ID document to ensure vetting requirements are met. If you do not bring these documents with you on the day you will be unable to undertake an interview and no further slots will be made available.

Standard working hours are 37 hours per week excluding breaks which are unpaid.
