Delivery Managers at MOJ work on exciting products in support of services that improve lives. The team

The Legal Aid Agency (LAA) provides civil and criminal legal aid and advice in England and Wales and each year we help more than 2 million people to deal with their legal problems. 

The products we work on include:

  • software for the public, like ‘Visit someone in prison’, to improve access to justice and help deliver a modern courts and justice system
  • software for internal users, likeour intranet, to transform our department and improve the working lives of 70,000 staff
  • platforms and APIs to help build our software like ourCloud Platform to make how our product development simpler and smarter

We're recruiting a delivery manager to join 1 team:

  • The LAA Digital Team have three service areas: Get Access, Get Legal Aid, and Get Paid.  The three service areas cover the end to end legal aid process, from the point of tender to the point a provider receives payment for their work and any outstanding debt is paid.
  • The product team you'll join will be agreed closer to your start date.

The role

We’re looking for an individual with strong interpersonal skills who likes working in a delivery focused, agile environment with multidisciplinary teams. You also contribute to our Agile Delivery community and share your skills and experiences with others across the MOJ, and across government.

You'll be an experienced delivery manager leading a multidisciplinary team, supporting and continuously improving products of significant scale and complexity.

Working Arrangements & Further Information

Some of MoJ’s terms and conditions of service are changing as part of Civil Service reform. The changes will apply to staff joining MoJ who are new to the Civil Service. Staff joining MoJ from other civil service employers will transfer onto the new MoJ terms if they are already on 'modernised' terms in their current post or onto 'unmodernised' MoJ terms if they are on 'unmodernised' terms at their current post. Details will be available if an offer is made.
